Registration
Guidelines and Information
The Language Institute provides students enrolled at College Misericordia, King’s College, and Wilkes University the opportunity to cross-register for courses offered at the other member institutions. This arrangement helps to expand the range of foreign language courses and academic degree programs available to all students.
- Students register for all Language Institute courses through their home institution.
- Cross-registration for Language Institute courses requires the signed permission of the designated personnel at the student’s home institution.
- All courses carry full credit and grade value and are considered part of the student’s regular course load. No additional tuition charges will be assessed unless the student is carrying an overload.
- Final grades will be requested directly by the Registrar at the student’s home institution.
How to Register
- Select the course(s) you would like to take from the list of course offerings.
- Complete the Language Institute Cross Registration Form. This form can be downloaded from the Language Institute Website and is also available in the Registrar’s Office at all three member institutions.
- Obtain the required approval signatures.
- Submit the completed Cross Registration Form to the Registrar’s Office at your home institution.
